Carla moved to Gainesville from Dallas last summer. Certified and specializing in Health Wellness and Homeopathy Consultations, Carla’s focus has been in the wellness industry for almost 20 years. Water Roost Properties began out of her home in Kessler Park, where Carla ran a wellness spa & sensory deprivation float tank business and holistic therapy office rental space to health practitioners for the past 6 years.

Born and raised in Plano, TX, it was time to get out of the big city and live in a close-knit community once again. Her plans are to build a home and develop Water Roost Wildlife Preserve on 20 acres at Moss Lake.  With projects on the land taking much longer than originally anticipated, Carla set out to town to find office space! Hoping for a flexible option like an office share or a month-to-month rental space, she found almost nothing. As she was dealing with spotty cell and WiFi services on the land, Carla and family decided that she would have to create and offer a space just like the one she was in need of herself and so…  the co-work office share space was born! Today, Carla offices out of The Office Houzz working towards her Mortgage Lending Officer License and managing Water Roost Properties.

Her son, Hugh, attends Lindsay High School and is a huge asset in helping his mother work on the Water Roost Wildlife Preserve building a home.  Carla has two older daughters as well, Clare lives in Arlington where she attends UTA studying Interior Design and Kate works in Dallas’ highly revered Le Bilboquet Restaurant awaiting inspiration for her next career/trade interest.
